NEW SRM PORTABLE SERIES 1200W SUB FROM MACKIE

Mackie has announced the SRM1550 1200W subwoofer, built from the ground up as the ideal companion for for popular SRM450 and SRM350 powered loudspeakers.
“The SRM Series is the most proven portable loudspeaker design in the industry, renowned for delivering pro performance and sound quality at an affordable price,” remarked Jon Rundle, Mackie Product Manager. “The new SRM1550 continues this legacy offering the power, versatility, and looks that make it the ultimate companion to the SRM350 and SRM450.”
With a custom designed 15-inch woofer, the road-worthy, internally reinforced Poplar cabinet has a front-ported design to provide maximum punch and low-frequency extension. Equipped with stereo XLR inputs, full-range and high-pass outputs, the SRM1550 also features a variable digital crossover that includes presets for the Mackie SRM350 and SRM450. Built-in Smart Protect DSP keeps the 15-inch woofer from exploding when pushed to the limit.
The SRM1550 subwoofer will be available globally in April 2016, with an MSRP of $1000 US.
