Ashun Sound Machines (ASM) has revealed an exciting new instrument — the Diosynth Wind Synthesizer. Diosynth combines the expressiveness of acoustic wind instruments with the power of ASM’s Hydrasynth engine and new sample playback oscillator, blending the best of acoustic and electronic sound design. Built for wind players seeking deep expression and control, Diosynth features mechanical keys modeled after real sax and wind instruments, multiple fingering modes, and advanced expressive tools including breath and bite sensors, an internal gyro, and an X/Y joystick.
The instrument features 128 meticulously sampled acoustic sources, including rare instruments such as contrabass flute, Eb Tubax, and Peruvian llama whistle, as well as 384 factory patches spanning brass, woodwinds, synth leads, basses, and tempo-synced textures.
Diosynth is shipping December 2025 through ASM’s authorized dealers worldwide.
