The 5.8 GHz wireless band offers ultra-reliable connections over a distance of 100 feet. A58’s state-of-the-art design gives you impeccable audio quality with low latency, and great new features including automatic scanning for the best wireless channel, and both passive and active modes. The 5.8 GHz frequency range is less crowded than 2.4 GHz, so with the A58 system you’re less likely to encounter interference from other wireless devices in the area. U45’s signal broadcasts on the 5.8 GHz frequency, which is less crowded than the 2.4 frequency band, so less likely to encounter interference. The system is comprised of a transmitter unit, which connects to your audio source (typically a mixer or sound interface); and a belt-pack receiver, to which you connect your earphones or headphones.
