Infiniti Red Bull Racing and Sennheiser have joined forces for the 2013 Formula 1 racing season. Sennheiser has been named as the first “Official Audio Supplier”, supplying professional audio solutions for the Factory debriefs, driver interviews – including the occasional spat and fist-fight between Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel – and powering the DJ booth in the exclusive Paddock Club. The cooperation kicked off at the Shanghai race with a special DJ set from Chinese superstar DJ, Jamaster A, and the creation of an exclusive edition of Sennheiser Momentum headphones. We don’t know if the deal includes supplying radio communications between cars and the pits, but maybe with a decent pair of Sennheiser cans inside Vettel’s helmet next time he’ll hear the instructions to take his foot off the gas and let Webber have a go?
