Less Noise Coming From Cedar Audio

Cedar Audio has released Studio 6 version of its software and the focus appears to be that someone in the company has dug up a whole bunch of old vinyl they want fixed – okay, plus added AAX Native and VST compatibility.

Cedar Audio

Cedar Audio is all about restoration and audio forensics (restoring critical files such as legal evidence, crash investigations and so on) and thus, among its overall processing GUI, already had some similar plug-ins up its sleeve such as a DeBuzz and DeClip. Now it has added three new processes, Auto DeHiss, DeClick and DeCrackle. All the new plug-ins promise a performance devoid of creating any nasty side-effects or artifacts – the holy grail of audio restoration processing. A generous period of time will allow existing users to upgrade to Cedar Audio Studio 6 at a discounted price. You get until the end of the financial year. Don’t panic at the mere mention of the FY, it’s still nearly three months away… More info at www.cedar-audio.com
