JBL PD500 SERIES LOUDSPEAKERS

Harman’s JBL Professional had its new PD500 Series loudspeakers on show for the punters, last week at ISE in Amsterdam.
The new series is essentially an extension of the company’s popular PD Series loudspeakers, which has set up residence in many of the world’s stadiums and arenas. Currently there are five new models to choose from, four horn-loaded 15″ 2-way systems, and a dual 15″ subwoofer, all of which offer similar power, pattern control and coverage found in the already established PD range.
All models will be available in black or white, with proprietary weather protection, EN54-24 certification and horn coverage patterns of 40° x 40°, 60° x 40°, 60° x 60°, and 90° x 50°.
JBL has said it plans to make its new line available sometime in July 2015. There’s no word as yet regarding pricing.
