BITWIG STUDIO 1.3 WITH MULTI-TOUCH
Bitwig Studio 1.3 is out, and it’s got multi-touch support. And it must do it well, because Microsoft uses the software to showcase the new Surface Pro 3. Multi-touch support means you can control multiple faders, knobs and device displays at the same time, limited only by your hardware’s capability.

Other key features in Bitwig Studio 1.3 include a ‘press and hold’ Radial Menu for quick menu access, Touch Keyboard with X/Y axis controls, and a new E-Cowbell Device that gives you… more cowbell. Using the Microsoft Surface Pro’s Pen with the Touch Keyboard provides an extra dimension of control with the new Pressure’ functionality.
Mac OS X does not fully support multi-touch just yet, but Windows and Linux users can enjoy the immersive new way to interface with the DAW. Mac users still get a number of bug fixes, and of course the E-Cowbell device.
