Harrison Audio announced LiveTrax 3, the latest version of its live performance recording and virtual soundtrack software. The latest version of LiveTrax introduces full integration with DiGiCo consoles, joining the Allen & Heath and Solid State Logic’s SSL Live platforms, making live capture and virtual sound check faster, easier, and more compatible than ever before.

Designed for rock‑solid multitrack recording and effortless virtual soundchecks, LiveTrax 3 streamlines the entire workflow, optimizing valuable setup time when it matters most. An all-new Session Creation feature enables users to build LiveTrax sessions directly via the console in seconds, perfectly aligning track naming and track order between the DiGiCo console and LiveTrax 3.

Feature-wise, LiveTrax is squarely focused on only the essential tools required in a live performance environment. With features like Transport Sync, 1:1 Input Routing, a built‑in Spectral Analyzer on every track, and per‑track input monitoring, LiveTrax 3 is a dependable solution for live performance capture on tours, festival dates, and event spaces.

“Our focus is always on giving DiGiCo users more — more speed, more control, and more return from their investment. The integration with LiveTrax 3 simplifies complex workflows, reducing setup time and operational friction while enabling reliable, high-quality capture. For production teams, that means greater efficiency and a stronger return on every show.” – Austin Freshwater, DiGiCo Managing Director

LiveTrax 3: a robust yet simple sonic toolkit

LiveTrax 3 features a range of powerful tools, developed in collaboration with leading live sound engineers. These include a real-time Spectral Analyzer and phase correlation meter across all tracks, which provide real-time visibility into the frequency response selectable on any channel. Additionally, input monitoring is even more streamlined, now featuring a dedicated monitor button on every track.

LiveTrax 3 also features extensive marker functionality and advanced master output controls, along with a resizable Big Clock and a dedicated Meterbridge window, allowing users to confirm with confidence that LiveTrax 3 is actively recording from any vantage point. Users can also monitor important utility functions like CPU usage, Disk I/O, and Remaining Record Time. For efficient storage, direct recording to FLAC format is supported, saving up to 50% of disk space when compared to WAV files. For file protection, a System Lock feature prevents accidental keypresses during recording.

For users who are livestreaming, LiveTrax 3 now includes a dedicated stereo output designed specifically for streaming applications, making it even more versatile.

Additional new LiveTrax 3 features include:

  • Console channel names transferred to LiveTrax tracks.
  • When a Snapshot is fired, a marker with the snapshot name is inserted in Live Trax recording.
  • In virtual soundcheck playback, when firing a snapshot, the playback jumps to the marker.
  • Macro control of LiveTrax Transport.
  • Comprehensive keyboard shortcuts.
