Sony has announced the IER-M500, new professional-grade in-ear monitors engineered to deliver accurate, reliable monitoring on stage. Designed using Sony’s decades of acoustic engineering expertise, the IER-M500 features a fully sealed structure and large acoustic chamber that delivers outstanding sound isolation even in the loudest live environments.
Ideal for performers, the dynamic driver produces deep, controlled bass while the optimised internal structure refines high-frequency reproduction, making it easier to nail every cue and harmony. Sony’s original fitting supporters, flexible ear hangers and cable clips ensure a secure, stable fit even during intense physical performance. Plus, the moisture-resistant design ensures performance holds up under sweat and stage conditions.
The IER-M500 was developed in collaboration with leading monitor engineers, including Noel Edwards, who works on tours for world-renowned artists. Edwards noted, “If you are in a situation where you need universal in-ear monitors and want a reliable pair, these are a great option.”
