Tonverk Sampler has Landed
Elektron's feature-rich polyphonic sampler
Swedish synth pioneers Elektron has announced the Tonverk, a feature-rich polyphonic sampler with highly versatile routing features. The new instrument has been the subject of much online speculation for the better part of a year, with its release signalling exciting new territory for the manufacturer. Elektron describe the Tonverk as a “‘revelatory pathfinder” and “a machine primed for adventure: an instrument to propel the user towards extraordinary music-making and boundless sound exploration.”
Tonverk has eight audio tracks that can be utilized in different ways depending on where the user wants to take their sounds. There are a further four tracks for buses, three for sends, and one for mix – all primed for relentless routing, offering a wealth of fresh FX flavours for use across the box.
Tonverk includes a broad list of FX with many new additions to the Elektron blueprint. Loads of modulation, extensive routing possibilities (both internally and externally) and two ways to sample:
Recorder – For straightforward audio sampling, externally or internally
Auto Sampler – Using MIDI to automatically multisample your favorite instrument

Play single WAV files (mono or stereo) polyphonically. Change playback behavior of your sample, set loop points, and smooth it out with the crossfade parameter for seamless looping.
MULTI PLAYER
Load a multi-sampled instrument from Tonverk’s library and play it polyphonically. Using Auto Sampler you can also create your own multi-sampled instruments
SUBTRACKS
Add 8 monophonic, multi-timbral Subtracks to one track, each with its own sample, sequencer, and individual parameter controls.
MIDI
Turn the selected track into a MIDI track
Offering a diverse set of solutions to capture, process, and route sound, Tonverk can be a versatile polyphonic sampler, a routing playground, an FX blender, a sequencer with tracks within tracks, and a whole lot more.
