The ever-generous iZotope is giving away yet another plug-in, this time a spectral shaper called Neutrino. The plug-in features four modes; Voice, Instruments, Bass, and Drums; each of which are tailored to the specific instrument types to subtly add detail and balance. iZotope says it’ll work just as well on a mix bus, adding punch to your overall sound.

In concept, Neutrino is similar to analogue summing or console emulations. The spectral shaping technology found in Neutrino is centred around the algorithm iZotope used in Maximizer, with the purpose of creating a more transparent form of limiting that was frequency dependent without excessive effect on the character of the music.

You can hear Neutrino in action here.
