QSC announced the debut of two new innovations for professional sound reinforcement: The CB10 Compact Battery-Powered Loudspeaker System and the QSC Loudspeaker Control app for Bluetooth-equipped QSC powered loudspeakers. The loudspeaker is a compelling solution for event production professionals, DJs and mobile entertainers, musicians and bands, or any application where high-performance audio is essential, with the added portability and versatility of a battery-powered system.
A compact but powerful 10-inch low-frequency driver delivers exceptional low-end reproduction and extension, while its 1-inch compression driver ensures superior high-frequency response and coverage, without distortion. The integrated 3-channel mixer enables simple connections for microphones and instruments, as well as Bluetooth music streaming. Input presets and DSP further optimise system performance and ease of setup. Additionally, up to 200 ms of room delay makes the CB10 an ideal system extension for distributed PA deployments.
The CB10 operates for up to twelve hours on its battery, which is user-swappable without tools. It can be mounted on a loudspeaker stand or deployed on the floor via its integrated tilt-back angle. Customers receive a 6-Year Warranty when they register the product within 30 days of purchase (1-Year Warranty on the battery).
The QSC Loudspeaker Control app for Apple and Android devices further enhances CB10 operation. It provides additional fine-tuning of audio and DSP parameters, as well as advanced system management for connected devices, including CB10, KC12 “K Column”, and future Bluetooth-equipped QSC-powered loudspeakers.
The CB10 is expected to arrive in Australia in early March. The Control App is available for free in the Apple and Android app stores.
