At the heart of the 88R LBC lies the true 88RS VCA compressor circuit, faithfully derived from Neve’s flagship analogue console. Renowned for its accuracy, transparency, and punch, this topology has shaped countless hit records at studios such as Abbey Road, AIR Studios, and The Village. Now, that same sonic authority is available in a single-slot 500-series module – delivering uncompromised, console-grade performance for tracking, mixing, and mastering.

Set-and-Forget Simplicity with Auto Make-Up Gain

A feature rarely seen in analogue compression, Auto Make-Up Gain automatically adjusts output levels as threshold and ratio settings change. Console-Style Group Compression

Using the same technology from the 88RS console’s VCA bus linking system, multiple 88R LBC units can be linked together to form true compression groups within a compatible 500-series chassis.
