The RodeLink digital wireless system has been making waves since its release earlier this year and Rode is excited to announce the ‘Newsshooter Kit’ is now shipping.
If you’ve dreamt of being a DSLR-wielding self-made journalist, Rode’s got your audio requirements covered. Adding to its family of RodeLink wireless products, the Newsshooter Kit features a camera-mounted transmitter and the new XLR transmitter which you connect directly to a microphone — shotgun or regular handheld. With five gain options on board, the transmitter is powered by either two AA batteries, a Sony NPF battery, or continuously via Micro USB. It can supply 48V phantom power and sports a 3.5mm input and headphone output. Pairing it up with the receiver is as simply as pressing a button.
‘We are excited to be bring another addition to the RodeLink Wireless family to market’, said Damien Wilson – Global Director of Sales and Marketing. ‘We understand this is a huge need for our customers and we’re glad to be fulfilling it.’
