The latest stick PA on the market comes from EV and it’s called the Evolve 50. The slender column provides up to 126dB SPL output and weighs 35kg. EV says Evolve 50 excels in reproducing warm and articulate vocals for presentations and spoken word applications.

The full-range columns loudspeaker is comprised of eight 3.5-inch neodymium drivers and matched with a single 12-inch subwoofer. The Class D amplifier gives 1000W of output power. The stated horizontal coverage is 120° and array-formed 40° asymmetrical vertical coverage caters for better front to back coverage. The array is enclosed in ABS plastic while the ported subwoofer is enclosed in wood. Setup is quick and easy with a single aluminium subwoofer pole containing internal wiring to carry signal from the sub to the array. The three-piece system (array, sub, pole) locks into place with just a few clicks.

Evolve 50 features Bluetooth compatibility for streaming and the new Bluetooth QuickSmartMobile app allows wireless configuration, control, and monitoring of up to six Evolve 50 systems simultaneously. An angled input panel gives you access to make adjustments and connections such as multiple presets and options for signal routing and inputs.
